I was the staff photographer for the
Carlsbad Current-Argus
in Carlsbad, New Mexico from
July 1979 to April 1981. The paper
came out on Monday through Friday afternoons and on Sunday morning.

The big political issue of the time was
the proposed construction of the nuclear
Waste Isolaion Pilot Project near Carlsbad.
